Sail Turkey: Demre to Fethiye, 6 Nights

The original Sail Turkey – now bigger, better, and built for social travellers.

From ancient ports to island sunsets — one unforgettable journey along Turkiye’s Lycian Coast.

Begin your adventure in Demre, where the mountains meet the sea, and sail west through Turkiye’s most captivating stretch of coastline. Over six sun-filled nights, discover Kekova’s Sunken City, Simena Castle, Kas, St. Nicholas Island, and the Blue Lagoon of Oludeniz — each day a new bay, a new swim, a new memory—no repeats, no rush — just the natural flow of the Mediterranean.

Designed for travellers aged 25–44, this one-way cruise balances social connection and calm relaxation — mornings spent swimming and exploring, afternoons sailing through turquoise bays, and evenings enjoying sunset dinners on deck beneath the stars.

Before departure, guests benefit from complimentary transfers to Demre Harbour from Antalya and Fethiye, as well as Olympos Junction and Cirali Junction, making it easy to connect from Antalya, Cappadocia, or Konya. The cruise finishes in Fethiye, ideally placed for onward journeys to Pamukkale, Ephesus, or Istanbul — or an extra night on the coast before your flight from Dalaman Airport.

Prefer to start the other way around?
Our Fethiye to Demre (6 Nights) One-Way Sail Turkey Cruise follows the same Lycian route eastward, offering new light, new energy, and a seamless connection toward Antalya and beyond.

Trip Itinerary

Your journey begins effortlessly with free transfers to Demre Harbour from Antalya or Fethiye. The drive along the Lycian Coast sets the scene — turquoise coves, pine-covered hills, and the promise of a slower rhythm waiting ahead.

Boarding begins at 14:30, and by 15:00, you’re gliding westward from Demre Harbour aboard your gulet, greeted by your crew and fellow travellers. The first stop is Turtle Beach, where Caretta Caretta sea turtles are often seen surfacing beside the boat. After your first swim and five o’clock tea, we continue toward Buzaglik Bay or Camlik Bay, quiet inlets perfect for unwinding into the week.

As daylight softens, we pass the Pirates Cave, pausing for photos before reaching Danamusa Bay, our peaceful anchorage for the night. Dinner is served on deck under a canopy of stars — soft waves, warm breeze, and easy conversation flowing through the evening.

Vibe: A smooth beginning — calm sailing, soft light, and the simple joy of arriving at sea.
Pro Tip: Watch the water near Turtle Beach — sea turtles often glide silently beside the gulet.

Meals: Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Danamusa Bay

The day begins quietly in Danamusa Bay — gentle light over calm water and the scent of breakfast drifting across the deck. After a peaceful meal, we cruise toward Ucagiz, a small harbour village surrounded by olive trees, enjoy homemade ice cream from local vendors, and explore the remains of ancient Lycia.

We anchor here for about 1.5 hours, giving time to wander the waterfront cafés, explore the small shops, or enjoy the slow pace of coastal life.
For those seeking something more active, an optional sea kayaking adventure begins here at 09:00, gliding over the Sunken City of Kekova, where ancient ruins shimmer just beneath the surface.

While the kayakers paddle toward Simena, our Gulet sails smoothly across the same turquoise waters, meeting them again near the base of Simena Castle. Lunch is served on board, followed by two hours to explore Simena — climb to the top for panoramic views, and take in one of the coast’s most iconic vistas.

By late afternoon, we continue west to Kocakari Bay, a sheltered cove surrounded by rugged cliffs and pine forest. Dinner is served on deck, and as the light fades, the bay settles into perfect stillness — just stars, sea, and the soft sound of water against the hull.

Vibe: A day of discovery and calm — ancient ruins, small harbours, and quiet evening serenity.
Pro Tip: Bring comfortable shoes for the Simena climb — the view from the castle is one you’ll never forget.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Kocakari Bay

Wake to calm seas and soft morning light as we cruise toward Aquarium Bay, where turquoise water and quiet coves invite your first swim of the day. Enjoy breakfast on deck, then stretch out and take in the views as the gulet sails gently west.

By late morning, we drift above the Sunken City of Kekova, an ancient Lycian town now lying just beneath the surface. The ruins — old stairways, walls, and harbour outlines — shimmer below the boat in crystal clarity. Swimming isn’t allowed here, but the view from the deck is unforgettable.

We anchor at Katir Pier for swimming and a leisurely lunch on board, surrounded by the quiet rhythm of the coastline. Later, enjoy five o’clock tea at Burc Bay, another calm, emerald-hued cove perfect for floating or simply relaxing on deck.

As the afternoon fades, we sail toward Gokkaya Bay, a broad and scenic harbour surrounded by forest and small islands. After dinner, those who wish can join the evening at Smugglers Inn, a lively open-air bar tucked away on a nearby island — accessible only by boat. It’s an easy-going night of music, laughter, and cocktails under the stars, blending perfectly with the relaxed spirit of the cruise.

Vibe: A mix of calm exploration and coastal connection — ancient ruins by day, island lights by night.
Optional Activity: Watersports at Gokkaya Bay.
Pro Tip: Bring a light layer for Smugglers Inn — dancing under the stars can get breezy once the music starts.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Gokkaya Bay

Wake late, slow, and easy after a calm night in Gokkaya Bay. Breakfast is served on deck as the gulet drifts gently west — the morning light spilling over forested hills and turquoise water.

By midday, we reach Camli Bay, a wide, tranquil cove perfect for swimming and unwinding. Dive straight in or float near the boat while lunch is prepared — fresh, simple, and always best enjoyed with sea views.

In the afternoon, we sail toward Karaloz Bay, one of the most secluded and striking anchorages on the coast. The bay is framed by dramatic cliffs and pine-covered slopes, with water so clear you can see the seabed shimmer below. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down — an unhurried afternoon of swimming, reading, or simply doing nothing at all.

Enjoy five o’clock tea as the sun softens, followed by a peaceful dinner under the stars. With no towns or lights nearby, the night sky at Karaloz is breathtaking — a quiet, natural moment that captures the spirit of the Gulet Cruise.

Vibe: Quiet luxury — pure nature, calm seas, and time that seems to stretch forever.
Pro Tip: Step onto the bow after dark — Karaloz’s stars reflect perfectly in the still water.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Karaloz Bay

Wake to the sound of gentle waves lapping against the hull — another peaceful Mediterranean morning. After breakfast, we sail toward Aperlai, an ancient Lycian port now half-submerged beneath the sea. Enjoy swimming and snorkelling over the ruins — stone walls and harbour outlines still visible below the crystal water.

By late morning, we cruise into Inonu Bay, a calm and sheltered spot surrounded by cliffs and pine forest. Lunch is served on board, followed by free time for swimming or sunbathing on deck.

In the early afternoon, we sail into Kas, a lively seaside town known for its cobbled streets, local shops, and relaxed cafés. Spend around 1.5 hours exploring — browse artisan boutiques, grab an iced coffee, or wander along the marina.

After our visit, we continue to Hidayet Bay for a refreshing swim and five o’clock tea, before setting course for Firnaz Bay, our quiet overnight anchorage. Nestled between the hills, this bay offers calm water, a soft sea breeze, and a stunning sunset — the perfect setting for dinner and a relaxed evening on deck.

Vibe: A day of contrasts — ancient ruins, local charm, and the serene calm of the open sea.
Pro Tip: Don’t miss snorkelling at Aperlai — the mix of history and crystal water is unforgettable.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Firnaz Bay

Wake to the soft hum of the gulet as we sail westward at sunrise. The morning unfolds gently as we pass Patara Beach, a vast expanse of untouched golden sand stretching for kilometres along the coast. Sip your coffee on deck, watch the horizon glow with colour, and feel the quiet rhythm of the Mediterranean easing you into the day.

By mid-morning, we reach Butterfly Valley, where breakfast is served on deck against a backdrop of towering cliffs and turquoise water. It’s one of the coast’s most spectacular sights — a hidden canyon where waterfalls meet the sea. After breakfast, take a swim or a short walk along the beach to explore the valley floor before we continue our journey.

Late morning brings us to Oludeniz Blue Lagoon, famed for its calm, glassy water and dramatic mountain backdrop. Swim, paddleboard, or float in the bay’s stillness. For a touch of adrenaline, optional paragliding from Babadağ Mountain (2,000 m) offers panoramic views and a thrilling new perspective of the coast.

After lunch at Soguksu Bay or Camel Beach, the pace slows once more as we sail to St. Nicholas Island, our final anchorage. The island is scattered with Byzantine ruins and surrounded by calm, sheltered water — ideal for a late swim. As evening falls, climb the short path to the chapel ruins for a golden sunset over the sea, then return for dinner under the stars — your final night on board, calm and unforgettable.

Vibe: Sunrise sailing, hidden valleys, and one last sunset over the Lycian coast.
Pro Tip: Don’t miss the short hike at St. Nicholas Island — the view from the top captures the entire coastline you’ve just explored.

Meals: Breakfast (at Butterfly Valley), Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – St. Nicholas Island

Wake to the gentle sound of the sea and the scent of fresh coffee — your final morning aboard. The gulet sets sail early toward Boncuklu Bay or Tarzan Bay, a favourite local spot surrounded by pine-covered cliffs and glassy turquoise water. Here, you can take a refreshing swim, try the rope swing, or relax on deck as breakfast is served.

After a lazy morning, we cruise toward Samanlik Bay for lunch and one last chance to swim in the Mediterranean — a calm, unhurried farewell to the coast that’s been your home for the past week.

By mid-afternoon, we make our way back to Fethiye Harbour, arriving around 16:00. As the Gulet docks, there’s time for photos, goodbyes, and a final toast to new friends and unforgettable moments. The week ends the same way it began — by the sea, with sun on your face and that unmistakable feeling of freedom.

Vibe: One last swim, shared smiles, and memories that linger long after the sails come down.
Pro Tip: Keep your swimsuit handy — there’s always time for one more dive before we dock.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Disembarkation: Fethiye Harbour ≈ 16:00

More on dietary options | More on water policy

Yes! We can cater to most dietary needs such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, and more.

When booking, you can select your dietary preference from the options listed.
If your diet is not listed, simply add a note in the reservation comments box or email us after booking.

Some special diets like gluten-free or vegan may require hard-to-find ingredients in Turkey. In these cases, a small surcharge may apply — we’ll inform you before the trip.

The more detail you give us, the better we can prepare delicious meals for your cruise.

Yes — drinking water is provided during all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

To help reduce plastic waste onboard, we kindly ask guests to bring a reusable water bottle, which can be refilled throughout the day from shared water containers on the gulet.

Bottled water is not served between meals unless otherwise noted.

Couples would get their own cabin. Depending on your group breakdown, solo travellers will share and may be roomed in a twin, double, triple or quad cabin.

If you are a couple, please add a note during booking.

Accommodation in multi-share cabins is included on this trip. Depending on availability, you may upgrade to a private triple/twin/double ensuite cabin.

Yes, you can change your departure date, depending on availability. A small fee will apply and, if the new departure date is more expensive, this difference will also need to be paid. You may also transfer the money you have already paid over to another trip of the same or higher value, provided it is outside of the notification period.

To ensure you have enough room to move around your cabin, we recommend you bring a small to medium-sized suitcase or backpack.

Due to boat licensing laws, you are not able to bring your own alcohol on the vessel. However, well-priced drinks are available for you to purchase on board using a tab system, which needs to be paid the day you check-out.

Unfortunately, you are not allowed to bring your own drinks on board (including water) but you can bring your own snacks, such as peanuts, crisps, biscuits etc.

Bar Payments: Please keep in mind that you will need to have cash available to cover any expenses at the bar during the trip. The bar payments will be settled on the final day of the journey. It is possible that there won’t be any ATMs available at the ports, so it is best to plan accordingly. However, do not worry about withdrawing cash at the outset as there are ATMs in Kas Port town that will become accessible on the second day of the journey.

Some boats have power sockets in the cabins while other vessels only have them only in the salon area. The power sockets can be used when the engine or generator is on.

Beach Towels not provided: Please be advised that we do not provide beach towels on board. We kindly request that you bring your own towels for use at the beach. While bath towels are available, they should not be used for the beach. Please note that shops selling towels are easily found in every town throughout Turkey.

Gulet boats have limited energy resources, which is why it’s recommended to limit the use of air conditioning to 4-6 hours per day. This will help conserve fuel and optimize the efficiency of the boat. It will also extend the lifespan of the generator and support eco-friendly practices by relying on natural ventilation. Running the generator at night can be quite noisy and disruptive to other passengers. Therefore, it’s important to strike a balance between guest comfort and environmental responsibility.

Yes! If you book all 16 spots, the Gulet becomes completely private for your group.

The total boat price is shown in the pricing table under “Private Use – Whole Boat.”

That means:

  • No other guests
  • Same epic route
  • Same crew
  • Just your crew onboard 😉

To make the cruise exclusive, all 16 berths need to be booked.
